Gomorrha - s/t

Rhetoric, 2000, CD, Vinyl

This is some fucking sick grind from Japan. It sounds like the bowels of hell spat the whole thing out. The sound is big with a nasty savage guitar sound and fast as hell drumming. 2 singers... one low and guttural, but cool sounding, not some ridiculous comedy sound ( well maybe to some ) and then another higher screetching wretch of a sound lobbed into it to make it interesting. The "songs" are a good length and like they thought about it a bit, not just vomited out some carnage for 10 seconds and then fell on their instruments. Japan had so many of these bands at one point it was staggering - I think everyone got sick of the bullshit society there and grindcore was the obvious destination.
Tracks 1-17 taken from their Good As Dead album and tracks 18-25 taken from their split EP with tumult.
Really you can't go wrong with something like this.
