Antioch Arrow - The Lady Is A Cat

Gravity, 1993, CD, Vinyl

This is kind of like the precursor to bands such as At The Drive In or Planes Mistaken For Stars. Gravity had a lot of these bands, as did Dischord. If you want to talk about "emo" then this is the kind of thing that was going on before all the myspace maggots were using the term to describe even the lamest of pop-punk.

It's all dischordant and twisted... noisy and arty. Downright perverted even. Nothing really that catchy or showy, just scatching and crawling in the gutter reaching for the stars.

Fuck you if you think there was anything better back then.
