As Hope Dies - Birthplace And Burial Site

Undecided, 2002, CD

This is for fans of Unearth, As I Lay Dying, Darkest Hour etc. It reminds me a bit of Poison The Well in the artwork but the music is not really comparable.

I know there is this idea that a lot of bands were playing this style by 2003 or so but really only a few were playing it well. This falls into that category.

Furthermore what seemed to happen is that rather than having any leanings on the vegan, straight edge or other radical political movements as early pioneers like Undying and Prayer For A Cleansing did, the whole thing was now heading towards a big explosion of cock rock bullshitters singing about things that would never cross my mind.

Ok anyway, it's worth getting into this band if you like those other bands I mentioned at the start. Even just regular death metal or heavy metal fans could like it.
