Pearl Jam - Vitalogy

Epic, 1994, CD, Vinyl, Cassette, Mini-disc, Gatefold VInyl, Remastered 2x12" Vinyl

Once when I was young I had no money but I wanted records. So there was this thing called Britannia music where you could get 5 CDs for free if you agreed to buy 1 every 6 months or so after that for a few years. So I got Pearl Jam - Vitalogy, Red Hot Chili Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magik, Soundgarden - Superunknown, REM - Automatic For The People and some other record that I can't remember.
You might think that I am gonna say it all sucked and that I got out of all this mainstream rock into some sick underground metal, and that it's so embarassing to look back at that, and thank god I found out what good shit was when I got old enough to know better.

But no.

Every one of those damn records ruled more than anything that has ever been bought since.

Vitalogy. Some people didn't like it... various reasons....

Not heavy enough,
Not catchy enough,
Not as good as Nirvana,
Packaging and booklet sucked,
Eddie Vedder's voice sucked,
Spin The Black Circle not a good single,
Bugs sucked(!?)

etc. None of these people had any clue about anything.

Look, they even released it on fucking mini-disc.
