Social Distortion - Mommy's Little Monster

Time Bomb, 1983, CD, Vinyl, Cassette, Clear Vinyl, Picture Disc, Unofficial Red Vinyl, Remastered CD

Who am I to be writing about this. What can I even say about it? It's a real classic record and sounds good now 3 decades later.

They have their own sound, even back then when a lot of bands were sounding similar and just fast and scuzzy. They have the rock and roll influences in their Orange County punk rock songs which became so well-known. The songs have that rebellious fuck-it attitude of youth but also have soulful qualities of good blues and rock and roll of years gone by. Some of them like The Creeps, Telling Them and the title track became regulars in their live sets.

There are a lot of versions of this, even boot-legged versions and the 2010 re-mastered version by Epitaph Europe that I would really like to hear.
