Throwdown - Beyond Repair

Indecision, 1999, CD, Vinyl

This is their first record from '99. It sounds raw and brutal. The groove it has going and simplicity of the songs allowed the band to crossover into mainstream audiences and fans of bands like Korn, Sepultura and Pantera could get into this.

The songs are about being straight-edge and there are some heavy beatdowns like Hatebreed were knocking out, like the kind of thing where it all slows down and some stomping riff gets going and then the other instruments join in and then the singer is screaming something like "Until the day you die, straight edge!". Would be sick as hell live if you were into that kind of thing and if you weren't it would get you into it probably.
